Radiology is one of the medical imaging techniques that also includes computed tomography (CT-Scan), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound (which uses ultrasound). Depending on the patient, the radiologist decides which technique to use to visualize the precise location and size of a lesion and tumor or hemorrhage.
The Tunisian medical imaging department of the Center's Clinic is managed by radiologists, former renowned academics, supported by a team of efficient collaborators.
The Clinic can respond to requests for radiology, ultrasound, CT, MRI, cardiovascular and interventional radiology examinations. The Center Clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art, high-end equipment. This ultra-modern technical platform of the Center Clinic includes:
Classical radiology
Conventional radiology allows you to explore a specific area of the body. It is used to detect a pulmonary pathology, to look for a fracture, to analyze joints or the spinal column, to look for urinary stones....
Mammography
Is an X-ray examination of the breast. Its purpose is to detect possible abnormalities in the tissue.
Ultrasound
It is an exam to visualize the organs.
Color Doppler
Echo it is a medical ultrasound examination that allows color coding of blood flow.
24-bar scanner
Magnetic resonance imaging MRI
The Center Clinic has an MRI center equipped with high-performance equipment and the most recent technologies.
The Center offers its patients an MRI like no other, precise, efficient, silent and includes more advanced software.
The MRI SOLA by Siemens 1.5 T is powered by artificial intelligence, offering precision and comfort that cannot be ignored.
MAGNETOM Sola - the first 1.5T MRI system with BioMatrix technology - automatically adapts to the patient's bio variability to overcome unjustified variations in MRI exams.
Result: Fewer new analyses, predictable planning and consistent, high-quality, customized reviews with increased productivity.
MAGNETOM Sola with BioMatrix technology embraces human nature - developing precision medicine.
Cardiac ultrasound
It is part of the cardiac exploration unit with the tension holter, the rhythmic holter and the stress test.
The video-endoscopy unit
Endoscopy is a method of medical exploration and imaging that allows us to visualize the inside (endo in Greek) of ducts or cavities inaccessible to the eye.
- Video-Fibroscopy
- Colonoscopy video
The urological endoscopy unit
- Video-cystoscopy: Cystoscopy is used to explore the inner wall of the bladder (mucous membrane). Its purpose is to detect possible abnormalities.
In the clinic we perform ligation and sclerosis of esophageal varices, dilation and placement of esophageal prosthesis, foreign body removal, hemostasis, gastrotomy, polypectomy and mucosectomy, biliary catheterization.
