Also known as eyebrow lift, the temporal lift is a very targeted cosmetic surgery. The goal of a temporal lift is to remove sagging skin on the eyebrows and eliminate wrinkles between the eyebrows and the eye contour area. CThis type of lift is generally associated with a blepharoplasty.
The temporal lift makes it possible to tighten the upper eyelid and the end of the eyebrow area. This procedure is usually combined with an upper blepharoplasty to treat the entire upper third of the face, providing a new feeling of harmony to the face.
When the temporal zone is excavated, temporal elevation can be combined with filling techniques using hyaluronic acid or lipid filling.
Temporal lifting Tunisia Temporal lifting Tunisia: in which cases the intervention may be indicated?
The temporal lift may be indicated in any patient with sagging skin in the temporal region that may be associated with a drooping upper eyelid and tail of the eyebrow.
How does the intervention take place?
The operation takes place on an outpatient basis (admission in the morning and discharge on the evening of the operation) under potentiated local anesthesia (anesthesiologists administer relaxing products to patients) or under general anesthesia.
The scars are not visible because they are located in the scalp above the ears.
The after-effects of the operation are not painful but marked by a sensation of skin tension during the first week after the operation.
The compression bandage is removed the day after the operation. The staples (the most suitable closure technique for the scalp because it does not leave scarring alopecia) are removed around the 10th day.
The temporal lift ensures effective and natural results. The final result is evaluated when the tissues regain their suppleness and the edema disappears.
To appreciate the final result it is advisable to wait 3 to 4 months. Following the operation, the eyes are open, less tired and the wrinkles have disappeared.
